Canyon Coal: Gugulethu Colliery Bursaries 2023 / 2024
Canyon Coal invites South African student to apply for Gugulethu Colliery Bursary Programme 2023 / 2024 academic year.

Canyon Coal (Pty) Ltd invites students who are interested in joining the Mining Industry to apply for our External Bursary Scheme in the study fields mentioned below:
- Mining Engineering x1;
- Metallurgy x2 and;
- Environmental Sciences x1
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid South African identity document (SA Citizen)
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Provisional acceptance from a university
- Students already at tertiary institutions must have obtained an average of 65% and above in all major subjects
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO:
- Previously disadvantaged individuals from the Msukaligwa Municipality area
- Financially disadvantaged
- Applicants who have applied to study at their local tertiary institutions
- People with disabilities and females
Bursaries will cover full tuition, accommodation and book allowances.
How to apply
The following documentation must accompany the application form: proof of residence, certified ID copy, certified copy of matric results, certified copies of tertiary academic records including most recent results
